Ellen has wide experience in analytics across consulting in the fields of philanthropy, intelligence, government, and the private sector. Most recently, she led data science projects at Minderoo Foundation, enhancing research quality and decision-making through data quality assessment, advanced analytics, and data visualisation.
In the Middle East, Ellen advised on data needs analysis and predictive insights to achieve Saudi Vision 2030's healthcare goals for women and children.
At WA Police, she used machine learning to identify at-risk children and ensure effective data use to protect vulnerable individuals, transforming data into decisive action for strategic advantage.
As a Research Analyst at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Ellen conducted research on economic trends, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour, gaining a deep understanding of data quality assessment and advanced analytics.
Ellen's educational background includes a PhD in Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics from Curtin University, a Graduate Diploma in Intelligence Analysis from Charles Sturt University, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Curtin University. Her tech stack includes Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
